Ms. Parker has over 23 years of experience in management and training. Her certifications include Schwarz Skilled Facilitation, Parenting, Diversity, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Accelerated Learning, and Team Leader. She is also a Certified Grants Consultant, Human Development Consultant, Certified Family Life Educator, and Associate Public Manager. She is a graduate of South Carolina State University with a BS in Counselor Education and an MS in Individual and Family Development. She has been employed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services for over 28 years in various capacities. Ms. Parker has co-authored four books, Becoming the Professional Woman, The Young Woman’s Guide for Personal Success, Women as Leaders: Strategies for Empowerment & Communication, and Life Skills for the African-American Woman. Ms. Parker is a member of the National Council on Family Relations, Professional Woman Network, American Society for Training and Development, National Association of Professional Women, South Carolina State Employees Association, and the National Association for Female Executives. Ms. Parker specializes in training on topics such as diversity, customer service, conflict management, time management, leadership, strategic planning, and board development.
