Welcome to Fundamentals of Non-Profit Strategic Planning! 

Strategic planning is a process, one that you will develop, and as necessary, update. This course has material associated with corresponding chapters you may download. When presented throughout the course, please download the material as it will provide additional insight. In this course- 

1) You will learn the definition of the strategic planning process, its purpose, benefits, and its applicability to your non-profit. 

2) We will review the SMART approach and apply it throughout the strategic planning process. 

3) You will learn the necessary steps for your organization’s strategic planning process. 

4) We will build on this concept, and you will learn the components of a strategic plan and think critically about the application of these components to your non-profit in the development of your non-profit’s strategic plan.
